My upbringing revolved around a trifecta of sports, art, and motorcycles—a combination that has significantly shaped my passion for capturing the artistic and athletic endeavours of individuals.
Embarking on the journey of analogue photography in 2003, my affection for crafting images for print, particularly with a penchant for black and white portraits, has remained unwavering.

I found my earliest passions in badminton, motorcycle engines, and drawing. My parents, in their wisdom, enrolled me in art classes, setting the stage for a lifelong exploration of creativity. Soon after, formal coaching in badminton became a significant part of my story.
However, fate took an unexpected turn, leading to long-term injuries that forced me to step back from competitive training. Post-recovery, the window for a coach to commit to my development had seemingly closed. Undeterred, I embraced the opportunity to diversify my interests in sports. Sprinting, marathons, swimming, road cycling, motorcycle racing, and boxing became my new pursuits, each undertaken with passion and guided by professionals willing to share their expertise.
On the academic front, my focus shifted to art and design, where the study of light and space replaced athletic training. Two-stroke engines made way for the intricate world of woodworking, and drawing evolved into the realms of painting and print design.
Over the years, I have had the privilege to collaborate with filmmakers, craftsmen, athletes, social workers, researchers, and artists. Through the creation of images, I seek to capture and celebrate their passion and efforts.
